Manual for Miserable Politics

So mr Bakiyev has a stronger grip on the political institutions than ever before. He has about 80% of the MPs in his hand, and an equally high percentage of judiciary. But his long hands extent further than the obvious politically. There is the police, the businessmen and the bosses of the businessmen.
if the Presidency is stronger than all the other institutions, where does that lead the country? His political leadership isn't one of strong charisma like Chavez or Nazarbaev or the Russian big friend mr Putin. But businessmen have been have able to have a strong grip on whatever can make them and their friends rich. It is the same temptation that meant the end of Akiyev in 2003.

So how come he is still the boss more than ever, when nothing of his promisses of political development and more good governance, six years after the last president was ousted? Only that he is a good businessman. But he remains a Central Asian guy, with a soviet background that is so typical of those people.

in short: indesiciveness, lies, populism, debilitating the people, censorship, and puppet of the greater states. The greater states are here any other country except Uzbekistan and Tajikistan because they still ruled by the same guys as 20years ago.

No, i have no idea where he is going or thinking to go. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is a perfect instrument of keeping him in charge.

maybe i'll ponder further in a next blogpost
